I started briefly in using 3D software about 12 years ago using an upgraded Amiga and Imagine 2.0. Unfortunatelly I then went several years without much contact with computers at all. The up side was that my daughter was born and I had a great time with her. It was my daughter that gave me the inspiration to pursue an interesting career again so I signed up to several part-time college courses.
On my return to the technical world much had changed. 3D Studio max 3.1 was released and taught to me by Stan Zych at Trowbridge college near my home in the South West of England. I enjoyed using the software so much that I worked on it throughout the week even though it was a 3 hours per week part-time course.
Several courses later I was given a job as media and multimedia technician for Wiltshire college. Here I assisted in the teaching of national diploma and degree level students in 3D animation, web design, video editing, interactivity, photo manipulation and more.
Three years later and I have learned lots in all these areas and developed my own skills to a level where I can offer high quality freelance work in my own time. I have produced music video's, TV adverts, military 3D models, medical animations and short films. I have also delivered advanced training for my 3D software of choice 3D Studio Max.
I now offer freelance services myself and through other companies. I have worked many times with the local post production studio, Sandstorm and Multimedia producers Aerian.
